The outfit behind the biggest earworm of the Noughties ("Mr Brightside" anyone?) is back on the road and you're invited to join the ride! Bursting out of Nevada with their debut album Hot Fuss in 2004, the quartet went on to sell 22 million albums internationally, becoming one of the most recognizable rock bands of the modern era.
Led by enigmatic and endlessly stylish frontman Brandon Flowers, the Killers are no strangers to arena tours, filling stadiums with their high-energy anthemic rock, which was at first influenced by the retina-burning neon and hedonism of their hometown of Las Vegas. Nowadays their genre-bending songs have taken on the heartland rock of the American road (Sam's Town) and electro-pop goodness of dance-rock (Day and Age).

Thank you, no F-bombs (Well, Mr. Mar slipped up once - no problem). Mrs. MaGee had fun and that’s great in my book!
So hadn’t seen Killers in concert and was bummed never saw Smiths. And what lands here in Seattle? All of one and the best non-neurotic part of the other….Mrs. MaGee had never been to a “real†rock concert and as a good church goin’ woman (she’s not LDS - Adventist) I was trepidatious that a rock performance might be offputtingly vulgar to her and that she wouldn’t want to go to another concert with me. Mr. Flowers and his boys were fab showmen and Mrs. MaGee had a fine time….and she is now (slightly) less puzzled about why I am so fond of Smith’s tunes and readily forgave Mr. Mar his one F-bomb. Thanks for coming to Seattle (I actually live in Moses Lake and we drove 380 mi round trip for the concert) and please come back again - Mr. Mar and all the rest of ya!
